Diode Laser Hair Reduction
(8-12 treatments, once btw 4-6 wks)
What is laser hair removal?
A concentrated beam of light is aimed at your hair, which is then absorbed by the pigment. This ultimately damages the hair follicle enough to prevent future growth.
Usually, several sessions are recommended to ensure you achieve the optimal results in your treated area – leaving you saying ‘goodbye hair, hello smooth skin!’ Besides your eyebrows or any other hair near your eyes, laser hair removal is safe to have pretty much anywhere on your body – including your bikini line, breasts, armpits, legs and other areas we’re sure you’d prefer to discuss with your technician if needed. you will able to enjoy up to 80% hair reduction after the completion of your sessions. if incase you see some hair after the sessions are complete 1 session in every 3 months is recommended.

Do you offer numbing for Laser Hair Removal?
Unfortunately, topical numbing creams are not safe nor effective when doing Laser Hair Removal. The sensation you feel in treatment is not felt on the skin, but in the follicle of the hair. Unfortunately numbing cream cannot penetrate deep enough to minimise the discomfort that may be felt at the follicle. Please ensure that no occlusive creams are present in the treatment areas when undergoing laser hair removal treatments.
Will all the treated hair be removed in one session?
No, each Laser Hair Removal treatment provides a 10%-15% hair reduction. It's important to complete the initial course of 10 treatments and at consistent intervals for optimal results. We recommend a series of 10-12 treatments done at monthly intervals and maintenance treatments every 2-3 months for permanent hair reduction. You can choose to extend the intervals if you prefer to have a minimal reduction.
What body hair colour can be treated with Laser Hair Removal?
Unfortunately, we can not treat blonde, grey/white and some types of red hair with our Laser Hair Removal treatment. The light of the laser is only attracted to the melanin (pigment) of the hair hence these hair colours cannot be treated.
What is the minimum age for Laser Hair Removal?
At Bareface Skin Clinic, we recommend clients be at least 18 years old for Laser Hair Removal to achieve optimal results. Before the age of 18, hair growth may not be fully developed due to hormonal changes.
In some cases, we offer Laser Hair Removal to clients as young as 12. However, for those under 18, a parent or guardian must be present during the first visit. They are required to sign a consent form and attend the consultation to ensure they understand the procedure and aftercare. It is optional for them to remain in the treatment room during the first session.

No, unfortunately we cannot treat over tattoos with our laser. We can treat around the tattooed areas with a gap of 3cm.
